Ya i I was thinking of boosting my civic vx
any takes on this ?

The D15z1 is optimized for fuel economy, not HP but running a small turbo should be fine.

I've heard of it being done. Don't remember what kind of results the guy got. But hey a little more zip and great fuel economy. If you aren't building a race car it sounds like a win win situation.

ive been told not to by honda mechanics they say the valves will blow out the z1 has a weak head and tiny valves but you could swap a z6 head onto it and it would be fine

i heard you cant do a mini me swap on a z1 cause the piston domes will hit the valves???? correct me if im wrong..

You could always clay the block to be sure.
