Mates selling a Greddy turbo kit of a d16. Full system! Will this be an easy fit onto the d15? Cheers

All SOHC D's have the same bolt patern when it comes to exhaust and intake manifolds.

So yes, it will fit any D13, D14, D15 and D16.

It will bolt on to your D no problem, but since it is a full kit, I don't know about the injectors and chip and such being compatible with the D15...

The fitments should all be the same, im sure of that. Its the workings of it that im worried about. I mean things like ECU and injectors are my main concerns?

In a D series engine, the displacement is determined by stroke.
They all have the same bore.
So the only thing different in the shortblock, is the crankshaft and the rods.
Heads can be swapped, doesnt matter (1.3 VTEC anyone? ), it's all the same.

Injectors from all (multipoint) D series intake manifolds can be swapped out with injectors from B16/B18, H22/H23, maybe even more but I've never looked into that.

All OBD1 ECU's can be chipped, lately, OBD0 is also becoming easier to tune.
OBD2a and OBD2b still suck  though I think there will be more and more possible with it.

Distribution of internal forces make the D16 a weaker engine than the D15, I'm sorry, but my English isn't that good so I can explain (and I'm reproducing knowledge, not producing).
Generally, when boosted, a D16 will produce a bit more hp, the D15 will stay alive a bit longer (talking about stock motors here).
Most of the D16Z6/Z9 I know off, are taking large quantities of oil at just 180.000km, some even earlier, or are already having big-end bearing problems (where the rod connects to the crank, big-end :P ).

I don't know anything about the D15 VTEC engine (only VTEC-E), just found out recently it exists at all, allmost nobody I know can tell me anything about it either.

There are exceptions down the line, but it's safe to say all SOHC D-series will fit the same header, intake manifold, cilinderhead, combination of crank and rods, anything.
You can install the cam and everything from a D16Z9 in a D15Z6 (VTEC-E to VTEC conversion), you can install a D16Z2 cam in a D15B7, so even that will fit.

Offcourse the on board diagnostic systems will bring problems along regarding electric parts, like the loom, one/two/none at all O2 sensors, etc etc.
But those are no engineparts IMO.
A SOHC header will fit a DOHC engine btw, an intake manifold or cilinderhead will not.

good info man, i will have to do a bit more research i guess!
