Hi guys
i am not a turbo fan but i am curious
What results can i get from a b16 with ebay turbo kit( the shity ones for about 700/800$) whit stock block ?
also most kits do not include injectors or maps right?
how much pressure can the stock block take ,what size injectors do i need ,what sort of map? and so on and so on ..
sorry for the retarded tread but i just want to know what results like whp and trq to expect from a cheap turbo setup
Thank you in advance

Not a big turbo guy, However know some about them.

Pressure is not what kills engines. its your tune or going past the hp your rods will handle. As long as you have a good tune and dont pass your rod limits your good.

Stock b16a2 rods will handle 300hp. as long as you have a good tune your good until you get there, You can go Nitrous(like I will), Turbo(like your planning) or All Motor(good luck), Engine doesn't care how you get there.

A Small turbo at 14 psi pushs alot less air then a big turbo does at 14 psi. PSi is one of those universal measurements that don't tell you much. A Better mesurement would be CFM.

:thumb: thanks
i am not planing on turbo for now
i still have love for the high revving allmotor madness haha
but i just want to know what does it take to go turbo without totally rebuilding the engine
cuz if you can jump to 250/260+ hp for about 2000$ total than that is a good deal i think haha

Honda tuning did an article on a bone stock block puching 500 hp

http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/tech/htup_0805_500hp_stock_block_b16a/index.html

now tuning was the major aspect of their build, also the mild head work good luck cause ima do the same soon!
