#339109 Hello everyone,

So my first bad surprise to my recently acquired EG3.

I went in for a engine and transmission oil change and got a bad surprise while it was being lifted up.
We found the following:
-Cracked rear arms.
-Cracked right drive shaft
-Rear quarter panels full of cancer
-Damaged Radiator (i'm still surprised that it didn't leak)
-Damaged transmission

So my plan has been shifted quite a bit. A was planing on getting there slowly by starting with the exterior and getting rid of the rust but it seems like I'll have a lot more to take care of way sooner than I had expected.

Luckily the car was given to me so it's not like I really lost anything but still a bummer.

Pics to come...

#339330 Sorry for the delay. Specially with the pics but I'll have to wait with those till the car gets back on the lift.

Honda is being a little bit of a pain with my rear axles. I have taken my butt to the buses, since I don't want to damage the sub-frame.

The rest is figured out, so the only thing I'm waiting for is for Honda to get back to me.

I'm going to see if I can add some suspension parts while replacing the axles. I'm looking at getting rear control arms and front and rear camber kits in preparation for new dampers and wheels.

#339904 Well, I'm not in a hurry. It might take years to get there but it will be worth it.

For now, I just hope my engine will last a few more years. So that I don't have to rush anything.

So as to the problems my EG is having, the drive shaft connectors are shot so I decided to replace the whole thing with Hasport drive shafts.
The other problem is that my rear axle bushings are cracked and I'm relpacing them with Energy Suspension bushings.

#340599 The progress is that I finally ordered the parts.

And I'm going to install them in a few weeks when I have the time to do it.

I'll send pics of the work.

I updates the image links.
