#352582 Hey everyone! so i didn't realize my mudflaps would come in, in like 2 days which i got today and you know what i said? EFF IT!!!! Got the sideskirts done and installed the mudflaps this is how she currently sits. The mudflaps was a :x to put on for the fronts. Does anyone know how to make it sit flush? Cause there's a gap on the mudflap and the fourth screw can't be screwed in due to the plastic part being cut off. It needs that final screw to be pushed in so it'll look 100% legit!! Not painting the sideskirts for now. Too tired and got homework too lol. Enjoy guise.

#354041 2 Months later:

Hey guys, just a little update!! Lots of stuff has been happening in my life, but it's not necessarily bad! Got a new job so i'm not a delivery man anymore. Thank the lord! :woot: Buuut, cars in the shop right now. So i thought i would buy some small parts and do small stuff while i miss her like crazy!

Painting the weatherstrips and windshield wipers!

#354137 Cars back from the shop..

Meet maah baby Milano ((((:.

Quality of paint is good! Body work was good as well!
Small imperfections but i'm satisfied. $1200 from... Maaco. Now before i get bashed, remember guys, it's a build for a reason and especially since i'm still in college and paying everything with a job that pays 12/hr. But you get the idea! Enjoy! Got a hood bra and i gotta redrill holes for the front mudflaps but i'm going to wait till the paint is dry enough for me not to mess it up :?

#354156 @teal_dx :thumb: I appreciate it!! I'll live up to your expectations then teal!! If anything I'll try to aim for July's ROTM! Gunna take pictures in 2 weeks when the car is 70-80% cured aka 2 weeks! Finishing up front Si-R lip and windshield wipers. Then gunna start on interior! And hopefully fall and winter start on suspension and then the big stuff :hehe:

#354172 Thanks Gtstripes! Just finished installing my Si-R lip and my windshield wipers that were painted flat black. Going to wash the car soon and then drill holes for the EK Mudflaps since it covers the gap but doesn't install to all three holes. Only one hole fits in. Mudflaps will be running on two holes. Does anyone know if putting on Mudflaps with just the top two holes will make it loose? Stay tuned!

#354186 lol! Thanks FLopUrDonk. I'll keep pushing to make this car the best that it could possibly can...and afford... :?

It's Monday here for me and i'm running on 5 hours of sleep after a full day of work, picking parts up, napping for 30 min, going to school for 2 hours and then commuting back home to install the new parts! Finally got to installing the EK front mudflaps. It's currently being held by two screws so let's pray to the car Gods to bless me with the ability to still have them on after this summer/fall lol! Anyways, here's new goodies!

Honda Access Window Visors!!

Image

To anyone that's going to buy them around my area, buy them asap! Some retailers here in the Bay Area are running out and the shop that i bought it from said they only had a couple left. and that's like the only shop that had over the big known shops. Anyways, i couldn't find a DIY for this and i'm not going to lie... This shit was confusing!! took me an hour or two to finally get it. No hardware just straight up tabs. Waiting to get my socket and wiring from ICB motorsports since the sidemarkers i have are replicas and it didn't fit the first time.. :x Not that i hate replicas but i hate being lied to saying it's OEM/JDM. Now i have to pay extra when i could've just bought everything once.

This is how the car looks with the visors ! Getting ONE more exterior part and then it's on to interior. Just in case anyone is excited for the last exterior part, it's not going to be crazy expensive or rare BUUUT it'll make a big difference on how the car looks. Expensive/Rare can wait next year! hehe. As for interior, i'm pretty excited to show you guys have a lot of ideas in my head on what to buy but might take a while! 8) Going to have a photoshoot with my cousin who owns a '14 WRX Sedan and possibly our friend who owns an MKIV GTI 1.8T in a couple of days so i hope you guys can just bare with the phone pictures for now lol.

Stay tuned till the next post

#354396 I just responded to your build lmao. Yeah it's on right now but i ran out of gas so i haven't been driving it this week. I put on the ek mudflaps and it's really clean, i never heard anything about rsx tbh. But the problem with the ek mudflaps is that it doesn't connect to the very first hole in the front causing the mudflaps to sit REALLY low. The mudflaps have been scraping but after driving it and the car gods blessing me by not causing the mudflaps to fall out, it looks oem with the way the mudflaps are formed lol! I'm down for that photoshoot man! But, if you are suggesting me to become the photographer, i need some practice first because i'm still a newbie. :thumb:

#354397 Update:

Hey guys, just got done with finals for my spring quarter and as much as i wanted to take summer classes, i couldn't get the classes i needed :? But it's all good because, now i can focus on the car more and other things that are important in my life.

Now on to the build!

So i finally bought the little small thing needed for exterior to be done for 2015! *Drumroll please...

Image

Yup! JDM thin side moldings UNFORTUNATELY these will be reps but hey nothing wrong with reps. The reason behind choosing reps than real JDM ones is that, i originally don't have the holes on my car for oem side moldings. And with that in mind, why would i spend $200-$300 (USD money of course) making the holes professionally and repainting so rusts doesn't form, when i can buy LCA's or a rear sway bar or some better stuff! Now with these, they come with clips and i was told by the associate from the place that i bought it at, that if i were to cut the clips off the molding and remove the snap on clips and just 3M double sided tape that sucker, i would be able to get it on and make it look legit. So that's what i'm going to do lol.

Also here are the clear side marker harness that i bought from ICB after i told them my original harness doesn't work. They really are a great company here in the U.S. If you guys ever order from them, i will vouch that they provide outstanding customer service.

Now this concludes my exterior goal for this year, exterior goal for next year is...SECRET! But i've done so much research as to what i should get next and it's going to be $$$ for me. Now when one goal ends, another one is awaiting, right? On to interior work! I'm hoping i could get everything by the end of August. Again the interior work will be simple since, everyone likes a simple car right!? Buuut, it'll most definitely change how the car looks :thumb: Now i promised my friends and of course you guys that we would do a photoshoot but they're lagging so we postponed till next week 07/03/2015. Stay tuned!

P.S.: I hope i win ROTM :hehe:

#354537 Got a spoon duracon 5 speed shift knob. Getting my ITR shift boot shipped and also got 2 yards of grey tweed for the door inserts! I'm basically 80 % done with my interior gunna get the last piece which will make my car more sexy! But other than that...

Photoshoot as promised! Wanted to make it as natural as possible so no crazy editing and this is my first time editing. Couldn't get a photoshoot of my cousin's WRX since he's anal about his car.( Curb rash and one diffuser missing.) As for my friend, he had work  Enjoy!

#355219 Hope you guys are doing good! And congrats to the winner of July ROTM! Maybe next time! :thumb: Anyways, haven't been on here in a month! Reason why is because i started having small oil leaks and that was due to either the stripping of the bolt of the oil pan or a very very small crack on the oil pan for being low. :? Either way, i replaced the oil pan which kind of set me back from getting a set of Black DC2 Recaro seats. I've been searching for months for a legit seat. And i guess i came upon a great deal on my local Craigslist.

Image

Black Recaro SPD seats! Unfortunately, it only came with passenger seat rails so no installation till i get driver side rails. But hey, got it for the low and it's authentic too! I also, put in grey tweed door inserts to give it more of the OEM look since the ones that the car came with started fading but you'll get pictures later. As for my next part, i'm thinking either Long arm rest or the VTI/ JDM gauge cluster. :? Three Months to enjoy fixing this baby up and then it's winter mode! Thanks for everyone that's been looking through my post and commenting! Trying my best to accommodate your guy's interest or ideas! Once August ends for me, i'm going to switch to Suspension parts for the fall! But you most definitely will enjoy Spring-Fall 2016 build since i got the major fix ups that i originally wanted to do done. :woot:
