#259161 bought this car in november of 04' cause i love the hatch bodystyle. since then have done a lot of body work. swapped the motor to a 1.6 but only the cheap non vtec kind. BUT, now im in the process if having a vtec head built. after the head is done i will work on the bottom end. would like to see either a n/a 200hp+ or around 300hp+ with a turbo. no suspention mods yet but that is coming too. also looking for another set of rims in the future. #259172 well im at the beginning. I have a y8 in the hatch currently but im saving for a b18 to rebuild. By the end of summer/early fall i should have it rebuilt and in the car.

#259174 cool. i think im going to go with the d series that is in it found a site that guarentes 50-60 with stock internals(not that i will be using them) on a d series head for $699. i priced the b18 swap and the build i want to do for the hp gains i want and it came out to be like 6-8k. i figured i could dump half that into my d series and have the same hp.

but you prob wont hit 200+hp n/a on a sohc
im sure it possable, but your gonna have so much money into
the motor, you could have fully built a b serise or turboed your
sohc..

#259196 They're comming. That is an option for me. (Boost) but if I don't have to go that route I won't. But I do know I don't really want to drop 2.5-3 grand in a swap that I will have to build anyway.

#259198 for a cheap powerfull swap look into a h2b or h2d

it allows you to run a h22a with a d or b serise trans
so a motor will run like 900$ and h2d/h2b will run you like
800$, now you have a h22 swap which is stock anywhere from 180-212hp depending on year and model the h22 came out of, and theyre really torquey motors that imo tho

#259221 a FULL b serise motor, trans, clutch manifolds everything
is only 35 lighter then a full h22a with everything, now mating a h22a to a b serise or a d serise tranny might lower the weight a lil, but 35lbs is nothing for a dd, now 35lbs for a drag car n wat not ok, just lose 35lbs and tada lol

but yea some dude at a shop on honda tech weighed it all
