#221923 Thought it was about time I uploaded some pictures and create some sort of build.

I picked it up September 2010 from a forum member.

From the advert.

Once I had picked the car up there were only two weeks until Japanese Auto Extravaganza.

I didn't want to cut any corners in the project but I didn't have the cash ready to purchase coilovers yet, so I bought these instead.

Height adjustable eBay coilover sleeves, for OEM dampers.

Now I needed a new set of wheels, but I needed to sell my current ones first. A friend let me borrow his Rota Slipstreams while I sorted some out.

Here's how it looked then.

I couldn't lend my friends wheels forever, so I sold my original wheels to my dad.

With a little bit of searching I found these.

First I cleaned them.

I found a set of Intergra centre caps that fitted and this how they looked finished.

Just in time for JAE!

Some pictures of my car on the stand at the show.

With muchos inspiration from the show, it was time to start spending some big bucks!

A few days later these were dropped on my doorstep. :)

Sorry for the poor pictures.

Who needs bumpstrips?

Some pictures of today's action.

Had the day off work today so I set about cleaning up the arches.

#226738 Thanks for your comments :)

Rob, it will be lower when summer finally comes around!

Anyway, some updates..

Almost all the sound proofing has now gone.

Image

I just need to remove the rest with a wire wheel.

Image

Took out just over 5kg!

Thanks for the comments!

A little update.

Image

Image

Cleaned and then coated in Lithium grease to protect them over the winter months.

And a shot of my funky winter wheels.

Image

C&C welcome.

I picked these up the other day.

Image

The fronts on.

Image

I didn't manage to get the rears on as I needed some more fittings.

Thanks for looking!
