so my interior has been painted so many times(by the previous owner of course) and i am sick of it. just wondering how i could remove this peice without taking out the whole dash? to my understanding there are screws behind it. does anyone have a diagram of where the screws are. or what other small peices i have to remove to take it off. thanks

I see that its lhd plus you have the freaking interior i want (gathers) anyhow its 100times easier to get to by takeing out the dash and its easy to take the dash out and reinstall it. I mean the screws are located from what i can see on my spare dash that i have out....there are 4 or so surrounding the steering area 4-5 on the side where the mirror controls and such are. and they seem a bitch to get too even with the dash out and im guessing on the other side there is going to be another set of 4.....

The screws are sorta inset so youd need a long phillips head to get i there and such but yea if i was you id take 15 minutes or so pop your dash out and do it that way.....i mean really youd be better off doing it with your dash out.

yup have to take the dash out. there is no way to take the screws out while the dash is in. i think we all have been in this situation. i broke mine the first time not knowing. so i bought a new one and glued it back on. also if you do deside to pull the dash and take it off mabey a DIY can be made so anyone that dont know can referance it any time. :thumb:
