opened up my eg on fri and had a wet carpet on my drivers side footwell,
dried it up thinkin maybe i didnt close the door right or something,
but woke up this morning after more heavy rain and the same happened!

this ever happen anyone?what was the problem??
thinikin it has to be a seal?

does your car have a sunroof?

some times where the water runs down and behind your fender inside the frame the little self thing might get clog with debris. this making the water go everywhere else. just a though

its hard to access but if you take off your fender and have access to air tools you could blow it all out.

you can also strip out your interior and have a buddy spray water on your car and you sit in your car and search for the problem like that. look around under the dash fire etc...

I would guess leaky windshield seal. could be leaking heater core, but probably not since it just happened after rain.
