Dashboard colour change
Posted: Wed Dec 03, 2008 9:02 pmMy dash board color and the interior are Grey, is there any type of polish that can give me the black look? or the only way to do so is by painting the dash?

Posted: Wed Dec 03, 2008 9:02 pmPosted: Wed Dec 03, 2008 9:11 pmwell ya got a few options. get a black dash from a civic from your local junk yards or craigslist. found a few on craigs a couple times for like 60 bucks. or you can dye it, witch you have to pull the dash out. or do what i did and get some vinal paint and mask it of and close the doors, sit in the car and have some spray fun. get you high at the same time. lol killing 2 birds with one stone if ya know what i mean.
Posted: Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:30 pmi know its probly a crappy idea but i was on ebay the other day and there is a fiberglass dash cover that u can get for it.it covers all of the dash except for like the glove box and the vents so the grey dash would then be any color u choose like the color of ur car or black. in all rights it probibly adds some weight but mabe not to much. just an idea

Posted: Thu Dec 04, 2008 5:46 pmya if its fiberglass it may look nice but if ya paint it any color and it has a high gloss. have fun trying to see when the sun hits it and blinds your ass. craigs list had a blac dash for 20 buck like a month ago. just need to serch.

If you polish hard enough, it'll go the same colour as your car.
