Civic EG

I know i know another steering wheel install question. I am a noob in the import world so im turning to you for help. I have a momo non airbag steering wheel and and i want to install it into my civic which had airbags. I believe it will bolt right up but i believe i need a metal strip? Anyone have more info on this metal strip i need, part number and what is the purpose of this metal strip? I did search before i posted this but still am not 100% sure.

the metal strip is for the horn to work. you can also use the metal clip from a pen
