I purchased one of these for my factory radio location having seen them in other EGs:

Problem is, it seems to be a little smaller than the vacant space left after relocation the deck. Does anyone have a solution to this? What have other people done who have them in their factory stereo location? :?

That thing is a piece of shit! I ordered one as well fucking scammers! It will not fit, trust me I have tried many times, and even the holes on the side for screws, there is no where to screw that into. And if you did manage to get some block off plate it would look so ghetto just make the car look worse. Just toss it man and save yourself the trouble.

hks, totally agree with you. Considered the block off plate to surround the cupholder but thought to myself that it wouldn't work in practice nearly as good as it would in theory.

Derbo, that's a neat idea. I'm even having some issues getting my center console to fit  guess I've gotta uninstall everything and try it all over again.

You have any tips or tricks that you encountered while installing the console?

That's what I've been having to do lol. Once you get more than one cup and they don't have a tray it can be tricky...

I'll probably just put my deck back in the factory location, try to reinstall my optional audio console correctly and put two storage slots in there. The junkers will have an optional center armrest with a cupholder eventually :thumb:

The thing that annoys me right now with my car, is that the cup holder isn't big enough to hold a bottle of pop, or my travel mugs, and there isn't enough space between the seats to put the bottle either. the only thing i can fit in my cup holders is a coffee cup or can of pop. and i never get either
