push button start

ok i am going to put in a push button start on my car... 93 civic. i have one switch for the assories and a push button for the start. what wires are what coming off the ignition. the switch for assories has three pins. 1 for 12v constant, 1 for ground and one for the positive on the igniton for assories . witch wire is the positive? and the push button has 2 post. 1 for positive and 1 neg. witch wires from ignition plug into that????

i would get a hayes or chilton and look at the wireing diagram this will help you alot and it will be there just in case you want to do some other wiring.....i myself do not know whats what with the ignition since i did think about a push button start....but my ignition worked fine and if it aint broke.... but really thats all i can lead you to is using the wireing diagram in one of the civic manuals....

lol ya i dont have an ignition its been stolen b 4 :? so i want something to were there is no ignition under the wheel. and im hiding my switches and doing a fuel cut off switch to. i want it to be harder to steal but dont wanna get a used igniton and dont wanna spend 400 on re key and oem ignition..

a fuel pump cutoff is only a slight detour to a thief who really wants your car. If you are going to do this mod, I would install kill switches on a lot more than your fuel pump and a pedal lock & removable steering wheel with locking hub will help too.
There's ways around all of these, but they require time at least.

I have my old ignition, with key :thumb: i'll sell it to ya. Its better than nothing. Only bad things is the part that locks the wheel is broken.

There is pics of it in the DIY of when i changed it out.

the only place i found tachs like that are in spoon clusters, i wish i had a 10k tach, i shift at 9500 some times and thats where my GSR tach ends so its tricky.
