So i know some of you are parents, as i'm about to be, but i can't find the thread about car seats.

so here's my question/dilemma, i have an Eddie Bauer car seat and i need to figure out how to secure the base for rear facing. The manual talks about UAS, and seat belt locks.
i'm still new to this stuff as the wife's due in the next few weeks and my EG is the only car with working AC.

Thanks for the help in advance

For cars that don't have those rear hooks (ours don't) you will have to attach by using the seat belt according to the manual. :thumb:

our cars are too old to have those hooks me thinks hahahha

but yeah...use the seatbelt...

in my hatch, the seatbelt wasnt long enough to secure my baby's carrier (group 0) for some reason... so i just tied it securely over the baby's lap section only and used the front seat and kinda wedged it into place so that the baby seat is nice and secure.

thanks guys. thats what i figured but the manual kep insisting i use those damn UAS.

my next step before the baby comes. parting ways with my Subwoofer. The stroller will only fit side ways in my trunk and because of its width it takes up 95% of the trunks depth front to back.
