This is my attempt at making a carbon fiber fuel pump cover for my 94 Civic Hatch. Obviously, all fuel pump covers are essentially the same from 92-00. I always thought that the carbon fiber replicas looked amazing but the price wasn't amazing. Since I've been making other carbon fiber parts, I decided to make a pump cover for my road racing hatch. Fortunately, it came out fantastic and extremely light. I used a vacuum bagging system with NO fiberglass layers. I didn't wanna cheap out on this part. I've included pictures without clear and with clear coats. Let me know what you think. I'm currently working on a lip for my hatch as well. I havn't installed it yet cause my car is all in pieces, haha

This picture is when I removed the carbon fiber part from the mold.

Thanks. Working with carbon fiber is not too terribly costly. The hardest part is developing the skill to make is look as flawless as possible. Its more of an artform I think.
