I cut the rubber grommets on the firewall to allow my power wire for my sub to go through and also my line from the vacuum gauge and now my car gets really hot. Not sure if it's just the weather or because of the rubber grommets. Any one else feel their car gets a little hot after cutting through the firewall?

It makes the inside of my car really hot, it's not really hot it's more of humid and it started when I cut through the grommets and allowed a hole through my firewall, I might be over thinking things so I was wondering if any one else has cut through theirs and are having the same problem.

If you think that is causing it, just put some black silicone over the hole(s)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, i only cut a + through it just enough to get the wires through, might just go to the junk yard and get some and reroute the lines through the fender
