Glove Box HELP

Ok so the other day i went to open my glove box and the handle to open it broke and i don't know how to open it so i need some help. First how do you replace it and how would i open it with a broken handle?

with a flat head the a metal type thing thats holding it into place with the door u have to see where its at its hard to see but you have to push then it pops out you can get them at the honda dealership

My question is similar to this one.. I dont think mine can be fixed by that. Somebody broke into my car and tried to get in to my glove. They broke the handle and my key wont unlock it.... any idea what to do? I can post up a picture of what it looks like in a few days if it helps
