I got my car with no carpet from the start of the back seats to the back of the car. I removed the back seats for traveling purposes, and now it is just pure steel from where the back seats were to the hatch door. I am wanting to put down some cheap sound deadener(I'm using peel and seal) and then lay carpet down, but how can I get it to fit nicely?
I'm thinking the easiest way to go is build something to put inside the spare tire opening, so it's as flat as possible. Then would I be able to spray some strong spray glue and lay the carpet down, and then put the panels in to cover up the edges?
