#81643 for info only dont blame me if you mess up hurt youself or die
not real hard to do
tools basic
philips scredrver
10mm socket
12mm wrenches
time 30-60+ min **tools lift other factors cause time to vary **
be gentle on me this is my first teck write up

You want to start by removing you shift knob
Image
You then want to remove you center console which consist of 4 screws
pull the e-brake section straight back toward the back seat then you can lift the shifter up
Image

Image
lift you cor so you can get underneith the car
you will need 12mm wrenches and a 10 mm socket
you will remove the bolt going through the tube of the shifter bottem
Image
Image
then you will need to remove the 10 mm nuts of the holding plate
Image
they just spun on me [smilie=BangHead.gif]

so i removed the arm assy it has a 12mm headed bold up by the tranny
Image
pull and wiggle back and it will come out
Image
i used a cut off wheel to remove spinning nut
Image
Image
with this out you can remove the rubber bushing
Image
i had to cut part of it to fit over age has caue it not to strech as much

compare the shifter
Image
i put bearing greese in the bushing to help lube
Image
Image
i installed new bolts
Image
Image
reverse to put together
the rubber boot at the shifter has a rim it streches around to seal to prevent air leak
