was there a stamping or etching on the outside of the case?

Mine just showed up and there is no kind of etching or stamping on the outside of the case. I have no idea what version my LSD is

Where did you get it from? I thought all OBX stuff has there markings on it.

The box was already open & taped shut, but it was most likely to put extra packing inside, as there was UPS bubble wrapping inside. I know OBX didn't pack them that way. That was thoughtful, but How do I know it is an OBX and not another knockoff of a knockoff in a BOX box?

this is actually the newer version of the OBX LSD.

I just bought one and it has the 9200 etching on it which means its 3.0




ERZ does sell obx lsds and not fakes so you shouldn't worry about it. I do know that Mr. Bone has also notice this new obx lsd without the etching. Might want to check with him to see what differences are there.

oh so there is a version 3.5 out then, I got lucky!

I'll be doing a full teardown/rebuild of this lsd before I install it. I'll take lots of pics and put them up for comparison with the 3.0 and earlier OBX's
