okay lil stuck on the clutch release fork

okay ive got all the parts needed for my tranny now, clutch fork, spring, throw out bearing, new slave cylinder, anyone know exactly how this shit goes together? :thumb:

ios the throw out bearing supposed to click onto the fork? i dont get how this is gonna work :?

do you have a haynes or chiltons manual yet? If not, it is the best $10 you'll ever spend :thumb:

do i even have the right throw out bearing? cause judging by those diagrams and the manual i got it doesnt seem so

yea so i called up autozone and asked for my specific throw out bearing and ima go @ 4:30 to check it out, ima take mine and compare, if not, then im out 15 bucks on this one, but oh well. im sure i could re sell it. LOL :thumb:

The throw out bearings little forks slide over the end of the shift fork. If I recall correctly there is dimples in the shift fork for the throw out bearing to ride in.

Page 12-12 of the 92-95 Civic Helms Manual.

yea i got that manual, i downloaded it off d-series.org

and its quite obvious i got the wrong bearing, so i threw this one up on craigslist or unless another member is interested in purchasing it.

15 bucks. lol never used ha

thanks tho chrono, ima go pick up my new bearing, this just set me back a couple hours :lol:

just put some rubber caps on the end of the lines or leave them open. either way it doesn't really matter :thumb:

the one on the left is the on ei got, thats for a cable series tranny, and the one on the right is one im getting for a Hydraulic Tranny.

dont make the same mistake i did!!!
