Clutch trouble shoot!

- Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:16 pm #350485 My clutch makes this loud sound when I take the clutch peddle out of gear say I leave it in N but if I push the clutch in and/or it's gear or N it goes away,(nice n quit) my question I guess is can be its time to change the clutch or is bc im idle is off by a point ? It's a D series transmission
If anyone can help that would be "clutch" haha [/list]

- Fri Dec 19, 2014 6:13 pm #350488 Sounds like a throw-out bearing needs replace. Depending on the history of the car. Its probably time for new clutch. Most clutch kits will come with new throw-out bearing. You will have to remove transmission to replace the bearing so it would be the perfect time to replace the clutch too.

Throwout bearing is also known as the Release bearing.
