General tranny info covering all models & motors.

#329047 Hey guys, I've been searching all over the forums and google and I can't get a clear answer, I'm using a YS1 trans for my swap that a friend gave me, the trans is in good working order and since my eg has a hydro set-up I purchased the Innovative conversion kit that includes the mount a various other parts.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/INNOVATIVE-STEEL-HYDRO-TO-CABLE-TRANS-MOUNT-EG-CIVIC-92-95-DC2-INTEGRA-94-01-/270958295456?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f165f79a0&vxp=mtr

My question is how does this kit bolt up to the car, what sort of modifications do I have to do to the car to make this set up work?

I've read that the hydro trans are better but for the time being I'm using the cable trans, hydros here in Puerto Rico can go up too $1000.00.

Also I'm about to purchase flywheel and clutch, but I'm using a b18b1 from a 94 integra and a ys1 from a 91 integra, are the flywheels and clutch assembly interchangeable?

If not, which ones do I buy?

Thank you in advance!

#329278 No one is ever happy with those conversions. Best thing to do is get a housing and swap all the internals. That's how Endyn put a type R trans in an EF... cable trans housing.

#329336 Thank you for the picture that gives me a better idea how to put everything together. I heard about that, so all the internals can be swapped from cable to hydro housings?
