Need more details in your post...

It will die only while starting or once started & running it will die?

Can you describe how it dies? Does it just quit, does it chub/sputter out? Does it stall as if it were in gear etc?

Is the car drivable at all or is the problem only while cranking the key?

Once you step on the clutch to start the car, You Wont Be able to let go or it car complete dies. It does chub out too.

Are you in gear? Parking brake on? Is your car stock? Have you changed or modded anything recently?

Details are key :thumb:

Even with the engine off, the shifter should be able to go into a gear. Did this just happen one day or get progressively worse over time?
Does the pedal feel normal, is the clutch fluid good? Has the car been sitting for a long period of time?

If the car is stalling out (especially if it's a jerking/violent stall) then it sounds like your clutch or trans is seized up, causing the motor to stall.

Did anything unusual happen the last time you drove the car?

Now new tranny is in but once you put the car in gear, you can let go of the clutch and the car wont die. What may case this to happen?

Have you changed the clutch fluid? Have you shifted through all the gears?

I changed everything, but not the clutch or flywheel.

so if reading this all correctly you push the clutch in to start the car, the car is not in gear and the parking brake is up. You start the car and start to release the clutch and it dies, like you just shut it off? If this is the case then your clutch sensor which is up under the dash could be toast. It is a safety thing that you have to push the clutch in to start manual cars, you can bypass it and see if it starts and stays running that way by putting a paper clip in the connector.

Other wise if the car jerks when it dies but the shifter is in neutral then you might have a an issue with in the trans. have you tried to put into reverse and backing it out or trying to giving it some gas to as you release the clutch to see if it moves.

D15, D16 really don't have enough power to move themselves without pressing the gas pedal unless your modded but you said your not so.

I can start the car and i can put it gear and everything but its werid how once i step on the clutch pedal and put it in 1st gear, i can still leave it in 1st and let go of the clutch pedal and it will not die.

is the shit linkage connect properly, if it is sounds like you have fork issue inside of the trans. Now you can actually feel it lock into gear correct.

There are forks inside of your trans mission that make it go into gear and slide the gears into place to change gears. If you have a bent fork it will make it seem as if it were in gear but would not move, its either that or your slave cylinder needs to be bled out does your clutch have any feel at all. might need to bleed it out. or your clutch is not engaging.
