#245952 Yes, you need to change the ring gear and the countershaft to be on the safe side. I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure there are no final drive sets that use the same countershaft with a higher geared ring gear.

#246108 the countershaft and ring gear are matched sets.
they should not be mixed.
even with the same gear ratio, unless they are new (zero miles).

#249883 i have an h2b setup on my eg...i do drive highway miles alot. so when i get on the highway goin bout 65-70mph im revving at bout 3500-4000rpms. i dont know exact numbers cus i haven't drivin it in a while(deployed).

now for my question, is it ok to drive highway miles like that and if i wanted to change it, would i swap out the final drive? my goal is to get even better gas mileage. it is my daily driver. any advice would be great...thanx
