#127674 Hey guys this is kind of me generalizing that fact that I've done it on some other cars, but does my 92 have any way to tighten up the shifter and/or shifting. I notice there is a lot of play in the shifter, normally I would replace the bushings with solid bushings( that I would make) or replace with OE stuff.

And should I leave the shifter stock or upgrade to a B&M shifter or something of the same sort. :?

#127675 a B&M etc will goive you a shorter throw if that's what you want. Just stay away from cheap ebay shifters - they break.

Replacing the bushing will tighten it up, I recommend a urethane replacement :thumb:

#127679 Awesome I will tear that down tonight and get some to work on milling out some bushings.

Yea I would like a shorter throw so... I will be getting one of those for sure.

#131969 I did the energy suspension ones and they didn't do jack to take the slop out. Made actual shifting nicer though.

I just bought these:

They all go at the bottom of the shift rod. They should sort it out. :D
