i was driving up the street the other day and my shifter got real loose i slowed down and pulled into a parking lot and i shifted in to first and it was fine i went to pull out in reverse and it went into fourth and if i go to shift into 5th it will go into third, i have a 94 cx with a h22 swap i dont know if one of my cables broke or got loose or if something just completely shitty happend, just looking for any imput

I'm not familiar with that setup, but to me it sounds like cables rather than a problem within the transmission.
Look under the car and see if something is loose or out of adjustment.
Being that it's 5th and reverse, I'd bet it's the cables.

yeah thats what i though cause nothing really went kaput it just kind of felt funny i was just about to go out side and start messing with it just wanted to see what others though thanks though
