#114686 Hi

Planning on building a competition engine to run in a 1400cc class, Its going to be a low budget, I would be gratful for your advice on it and the best parts to use

The plan is to use a D14 Block with a SOHC vtech head bolted on to it.
Individual throttle bodies, was looking at GSXR 1000 throttle bodies
Fully mappable ecu.
Competition Cam
Y21 Gearbox with a close ratio gearkit and LSD (Will this bolt on to a D14 Block)

I am going to use an ESI 3dr Hatch as a shell as it will simplify wiring.

How much power do you think I would get out of this build.

#115717 You can use any D series tranny. I think the y21 is a B series.

#115896 yes, the 92-95 del sol Si, or EX/si civic tranny is a good one. It would be better though to grab a 96-00 EX tranny. They have stronger shift forks from the factory.
