bore out cylinders??

bore out cylinders??

- Thu Jan 08, 2009 3:20 pm #87589 hey i was pondering boring out my d16z6 when i got to put my d16a6 pistons in it and i was thinking could the engine be bored over by just take the cylinder sleeves in to the machinist? just wondering i probably wont do it but its a thought. thanks

- Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:05 am #87740 ya i know that but what im saying is that i have not ordered my pistons yewt and for the stock d16a6 pistons i can get standard bore or bigger ones(i forget the size) and im saying if it would be worth it power wise to get the bigger ones and bore it? also if it is worth it can i just take the cylinder sleeves to get bored or do i have to take the entire block down?

What would kick ass is if someone made a stroker crank for the D16. :twisted:
