#270828 So I was wondering where i could buy good quality piston rings for my b18b1? I am changing my stock rod bolts n since i'm that far down i might as well change my piston rings. R the 1's from password jdm or jhpusa any good?

Honing?

Engine honing is the process in which a mechanic uses fine-grade stones to deglaze the cylinder walls of an engine block before the pistons are put back into the engine. This assures a tight, leak-free fit between the piston rings and the cylinder walls

#273041 If it is a good machine shop, then they should do this.

#273110 I've used total seal once before with good results. Im not expert on piston rings, but as long as their properly gaped and installed I dont think the brand matters much...
