#142537 I just got a ticket for my exhaust being to loud (Well actually for damaged/modifed exhaust, but whatev).
If I bring receipts for getting the car quiet, I.E. Add a Muffler, They will drop the ticket.

I have a B16 with a Header, Decat, 2.5" Straight to the back to a 4" Fartcan.

I am thinking of putting a Magnaflow hiflow cat in place of the decat. Do you guys think that would quite it up enough to get out of this ticket?

If not I am thinking of getting a Cherry Bomb Turbo or Magnaflow or Flowmaster Muffler and having it welded up to a new flanged so I can swap it out with my fart can.

I want to quite the car up, At the same time I want to have it sound good. On my old z6 coupe I had a Flow Master muffler on a 2.5 exhaust. It sounded deep and bassy,

Any suggestions would be appreciated .

#142548 Mine's nice and quiet, I actually get compliments on it from the non-honda guys saying it's the quietest non-stock Civic they've heard. :D

Quiet below 4 grand for daily driving, then it comes alive. :)

I got a 2.5" downpipe, then a resonator in place of the cat, then another much longer resonator on the midpipe, then to a Vibrant Streetpower muffler. All 2.5"

Is your cat delete a straight pipe or a resonator? Resonators are your friend. Also ditch the fartcan for something respectable. :P

Get a nice 2.5" oval muffler that's straight through from an exhaust shop and have them fab something nice up for you. Mandrel bends don't matter a ton, just get it crush bent. :thumb:

#142648 run a cat and like a 18-20" resonator. resanators are the key to having a good sounding car, and not a raspy POS. longer will make it quiter, but will not hurt the performance
