like the title says are they?
and will the fit in my z6 with no problems to increase the compression to 11.7:1 according to zealautoworks compression calculator.

will the new oem z6 piston rings i bought fit the d15b8 pistons?

im rebuilding my z7 right now and would like to know if these will work with NO hidden problems

the d15b8 is the shit 70 hp cx motor. I would not put any internals from a d15b8 into a high compression d16z6 :thumb:

There's a certain piston that you can use for high compression, the GX piston will get you around 12 cr.

the GX are still new/rare to find, but the d16a1's are common.
here's some on ebay:

they are the same mm, but I would check with the company selling the parts to check the part #'s.

according to Honda, the d16z6:

and d16a6:

use different part #'s

P29's w/rings are on ebay all day
YCP is tha brand you want.
Here are some 75mm:

i always buy rings at the same time i buy pistons

PG6 is for the Natural Gas powerd 2001-03 GX.
not very good for D16's (deck height), but almost perfect for D15 with 137mm rods.
in the US it is almost impossible to get these.
all Honda Dealers (Majestic, etc) have them on indefinite backorder.

we need to know your whole setup and what you plan on doing with the motor. I'd start a new thread in the D series section :thumb:
