i am still a bit of a noob to drag racing, when they say "on the brakes" is it that that they are going faster than they are supposed to and using the brakes at the end of the track?

yeah after a certain speed/time your supposed to use a parachute

Why limit the speed? Do they have drags with no limit or time?
Seems kind of contradictory to drag but stay within a certain speed...

no they dont limit your speed. just once you hit a certain speed/time your supposed to use a parachute so you can slow down after the finish line

Oh I see. So you pass the finish line, and then you're supposed to shute instead of just braking.

This is true.
This perticular NSX had to slow it down due to no roll cage I believe.

thats good tho..damn he beats that nsx up! most of the guys that i know have nsx's keep em in the garage.. its good to see some finally out there
