#8225 I was wondering, what the price would be of a full B18c4 swap.
In Great Britain that is, shipping to Holland from the States is unaffordable, from the UK do-able, especially since my neighbour is an Englishman who goes back once in a while.

A typical Dutch price would be € 3.500,-
That would be little under £ 2.400,- or little over $ 4.700,-

Gimme your 2cts. please :)

#8244 the b18c4 is from the MB6 civic aint it?

if im thinking of the right engine then a full swap will go for ?700 - ?800

they are a very cheap engine because alot of people tend to go for the b18c or b18c6 from the ITR's

#8260 The B18c4 does have LSD and a butterfly intake, 170hp, only downside is the OBD2 ECU, but a few friends of mine have or had a swap like that running on OBD1.
So they could help me out with this, knowledge is at hand, it's just the costly goods ;)

Anyone know a site in GB where I can buy this engine?
Ebay UK, or is'nt that a wise choice...
This will make a decent swap a lot more affordable!
It's even a few hundred CHEAPER than a typical Dutch B16a2 swap...

Even a B16a2 swap will cost you about ? 2500,- (? 1710,- / $ 3375,-) in Holland...
A B18c6 goes for about twice that... probably the reason why the B18c4 swap is becoming more and more the next big thing, and a B16a2 swap is the most common.

A full B18c4 swap is IMO this;
* engine + i/m + stock header,
* gearbox + axles.
* starter.
* engine mounts.
* ECU.
* ignition.
* dynamo (alternator same thing??).
* wiring.
* gear linkage.
That is wat I'll get for just 800 GBP??
That's nice! That would bring a nice turbo project even closer to home :twisted:

So, if any of you want to make a few extra quit/bucks, start shipping B18's to Holland! :D

#8275 not sure mate, most places charge about ?1000 for the average swap.

depending what car its going in and what engine.

give them a ring, always better to speak on the phone IMO

just have a note pad ready to jot down the prices, etc :thumb:
