My car won't rev pass 3.5 it backfires when when accelerating up to 3k and backfires when decelerating... I reset Ecu still the same results don't have anymore ecu's on hand. It also cranks a bit long before it starts up

Can Someone Help Please!

Boi, Give us some more info. Was the car running before the problem. Do you have CEL on.
Was any maintenance done before?

Just rebuild the Block rings and bearings .. And I don't have any cel on the dash. b20 Block Gsr Head & Intake... All stock parts

Still sounds like mechanical timing to me....

Can you send some pictures of the timing gears on marks ?
