Water leaking from inside hood?

Does this happen to everyone? When I open my hood up after it rains or after washing my car, there's always water inside the seal on the inside of the hood and it drips down onto the fenders. Is that normal or am I missing something?

There is a weather strip in the front part of the hood and also the weather strip on the cowl where the wiper motor is. Check those two , make sure you have them

Sounds normal to me. I bought a brand new oem hood and front seal on my civic and it would drip on the fenders so I would dry the bay and hood first, then the rest of the car

yea i have both seals, I just thought water shouldn't come out of the seal, thanks for the replies
