Bake lights

Ok guy i really need your help here my brother inlaw buy a civic right when he step on the brake the park lights turn on we check to he if they jump any wire to the brake light but noting really need ur guys help thank you .

have you checked the fluid level. i know with my other honda i had if the fluid got low in the res it would toss on the brake light

I mean his parking lights turn on when he step on the brake and the rear brake light stay on when he turn on his parking lights

swap the bulb connections. they are more than likely switched.
