How much work would it require for a drivetrain swap, how would it be done?
How much would it cost?

There making A Kit, I am on there mailing list.

I would say doin it your self, Getting all you need. youd be in the price range of 1500-2000$

What all would be needed?
Manual awd Transmission (CRV)
Rear Diff (CRV)
T-Case CRV
Axels all 4
Maybe a Fuel Cell
Rear Hub, Wheel Set up
Possible 5 lug swap

Thats just a rough guess of it all. Been looking into doin one my self. but it can get costly.

Not to mention the under pan to have the room for the T-case, rear diff and axles.

good luck finding the 5 spd transmission - which is the reason why that "kit" will be very very very limited.
instead of wasting time for this "kit" just find the parts yourself

Yeah, But I am sure you can get the 5speed, and then work with them to get the rest of the kit... I am sure they will have custom brackets for eveything and make it very nice, When I emailed witht them they seem to be very into this build. SO I am sure they will make something decent!

Plus I am sure you can get a 5speed somewhere for a decent price.

If you are so sure about everything, I will check up on you in 6 months and see how you do. I guarantee that you will be like 95% of people wanting to go AWD and fail on their mission.
I wanted to convert my sedan too, but the costs and reliability of the work made me realize that its not worth my money and effort. I will have easier time sourcing 5 speed J swap then 5 speed AWD CRV components for a good price. Besides i would much rather have an AWD 5 speed CRV in the first place because when one starts messing with OEM factory car, reliability tends to go south
not hating - just being realistic about AWD swaps.

Import an AWD DC. Custom driveshaft. Or just save up / work on your credit and and buy an Impreza. That's what I did. 05 STi.

 I am sure you can find the parts, Some might not be cheap, some might be. I dont have the money to attempt the swap at this moment. my car is pretty much where I want it at this point.
I have owned a 06 Evo. it was AWD and I loved it, you are correct you will never have something solid as a OEM one, but goin to do custome would be aweome!
Now for parts. here is the transmission
http://compare.ebay.com/like/3200735707 ... s&var=sbar
$1400 shipped, Im sure you can find one more local, and way more cheaper!

its possible to do, if you have funds and time.

A qucik way to just get past the AWD portion is beefy axles and slicks!
