Civic EG

How in the world do you put that thing back on? I bought a shell and it had a wink 5 panel which i'm not a fan of, but now I cant install the original.

Any help?

the mount on the windshield is usually just slip on. im not sure on a civic but i've done it on other cars. mirror is held on via a metal spring clip. just pull out really hard. usually up and back. if not, down and forward.

if they tampered with the mount it's shelf you can replace the mount on the windshield. call a windshield specialist. they have to heat up the mount and melt it off and replace it with a new one.

Dang I wish you wouldve posted this before I tried and cracked my windshield lol. But thanks Ima gonna give it a shot.
