how many minutes does your radiator fan turns on??

I replaced my radiator today, had the car running for 30 minutes, and drove it for 10, and it didn't kick in, only time i ever hear it kick in is when it is warmer then 15C and i am at a stop like idling.

Honestly cant ever remember hearing mine turn on :lol:

Never had any overheating issues though

once mine never turned on....

stuck in traffic and starting smoking everywhere, little did i know but the fuse had gone

it only turns on after a certain temp is reached, and shuts off after it gets down to the right temp again. it could take a while to warm up enough to get it to turn on. Ive seen some cars take almost an hour.

mine tends to come on when the temperature hits about half way on the gauge then just shuts off soon after

yep, this is how the fans work, unless you bypassed the switch and put in a continuous power flow to it. if you modified the wiring then the fan would turn as long as the engine is on.

i live in a tropical country, and my radiator fan turns on every 2 to 3 minutes on idle during the day. haha sucks.

it takes about 20 minutes for my fan to kick in. I have a slim fan so its LOUD.

My temp never goes past 1/4th mark though..

mine turn on when my key is on the on posisiton i like it better that way
