I was wondering if anyone could point me to some good reference material to assist me in my Ek front end conversion? I realize this is not a popular subject with most of you on here but I'm serious about doing this since I have purchased most of the parts already. Thanks in advance

From what I have seen. It will require a good welding and body guy. so if your gonna do it yourself. all the best to you. Im not a fan, but I also don't like most HondaBoi trends either.

Im actually doing it on my ef crx ill give a quick overveiw it is a bit of work but with fair welding skill you should be ok
Parts needed
ek fenders
spare eg fenders
ek hood
ek core support with wiring and brackets
ek front bumper
ek headlights
(pretty much the whole ek front clip)
To start unbolt your front end off your eg hood fenders bumper etc....
tehn using a drill bit or spot weld cutter drill out the spot welds on the core support once this is done carefully remove as you can sell off to someone who needs it
once thats done take the ek core support and use some bolts to try and position it correctly
---to do so take the hood and fenders and try and align (fenders you may want to precut to make this step alot easier
once you have everything where you want it tach it in then remove everything and weld it up good
now to tackle the fenders you must cut the egs towards the back half and weld it onto the front ek part thus making a eg ek hybrid fender so that it will bolt on well you can bolt up the eg fender to its mounts and align the front fender of the ek and tack that up take off and finish welding
wiring youll have to address yourself other then that you should be set from there
its a bit of work but if your hearts into it the work wil be work it

Thanks classic, I was debating on whether to cut my eg fenders to do the conversion or welding ek and eg fenders together, I hadnt thought about wiring though, are the headlight harnesses different? and do you have any pics of your build? thanks again...

this is my build thread i havent yet gotten very far besides gathering parts and yea to be honest i have seen people cut but id be cautious about that method sicne you cut to much and there goes that idea anyhow the harness i do beleive dose have similarities to the eg but im sure lengths here and there are different....
