I saw this on another forum and thought hey why not.. Post up your "good finds" that you would call "GOLD"



ill start the other day i found clock:



And today i found a integra cluster:

i was originally looking for a fender and i got this car

its getting paint this weekend, i have been working on it alot lately. it was on the backburner for a while, april 25 or earlier is the goal of completion

but the only
good thing ive found was a clock
and some side molding that were in perfect condition

I found a set of floormats and adj coilovers a while back, my old civic when I was stationed in England I found JDM sidemarkers and a eurospec prelude rear foglight!

I sold that car when I left with 222000 miles on it.[/img]

hmmm you guys are prolly going to hate me for my list of finds lmao since my car is practically built with them..... so lets start off with the most recent and work my way back a few months maybe years (going to mention only the main awesome ones)....but meh here we go....

Most recent trip i got
-1987 prelude 2.0 si throttle body for my buddies zc
-92-95 civic clock adding to my collection of 5 oem clocks...
-auto lx cluster
-didnt buy but hid till i get paid shortly.....a 1991 volvo 940 turbo (TD04H) as well as some nice bmw mesh rims 14" with decent tires for my hatch....

Alrighty well lets go for the most memorables
-B18b1 full ls swap tranny shifted perfectly....
-DAD seats (Dynamic auto design) Race seats
-2 Z6 dizzys
-couple vtec valve covers
-couple of black hatch interiors
-alot of clusters with tachs
-couple of 1st gen crx shifter knobs in perfect condition
-a pair of leather tan integra seats
-full power swap (got for lance)
-pair of hatch mudflaps x2

couple rust free tailgates so yea just some things i can remember however 90% of the things i have are junkyard oriented lol.....but yea woohoo for the junkyard

How much did you pay for the b18 swap

200 lol

and there be another one down there....171k tho but heck buy the hydro trans and a better motor and you got yourself a b series

I thought the ls is a good swap since they have more torque than other engines..

i had a bummer last month! I hate my self..

First the story, In holland we got for a year now a new law. You get 2500 Euro off when you buy a new car, BUT you have to junk your current car.
Sooooo.... i found a EG coupe (EJ??) and had all the books and stamps from the dealership, with only 132k KM on the clock. The interiour was sooooo Fresh, it looked new!
Even the floor looked new!!!

So 2 days later i came back for the electronic parts and all dash parts and all other black panel parts Interior. BUT IT WAS ALL GONE..! i almost cried he only wanted 250 bucks for it.... damned

it is but to me i like the simplicity of the sohc motors and the sound of boost lol.....

plus i put about 400 into it and just broke even sold for 600 due to the motor haveing possible head or block knockings....

not that bad i went 2 the junl yard 2 look 4 some mounts i happen 2 c a dc integra so imlikehmmm lets pop the hood and have a lil look full ls swap 550 bucks 1 month worranty i sat on top ofthe mottor 4 2 hours wating 4 my dad 2 come with the tools.......2 hours later i have my new baby out im at the counter paying when 2 dudes walk in i look at them one of them looks at me he looks down at the swap then looks at me....his eyes lookslikehe was about 2 cryyyyyyyyy turns out hehas bin going 2 the junk yard every day 4 1 month wating 4 them 2 bring the car out 2 the yard where u can sart tasking them apart talk about baD LUCK......

what is the deal with the clocks?? are they hard to find or something??

im going to have to go look if they have some ls swaps at my local junk yard and see if there cheap...if not maybe youll get it and sell it to me
