ok so i was driving, and came to a stop at a red light in neutral and as i am my revs just drop to zero, all electronics are fine. I try starting my car and all that happens is the engine keeps turning over but wont start.
Luckily im going downhill so i coast and try to compression start it but still even with me flooring it the revs wont climb at all.
My guess is it isnt getting fuel. What do you guys think it could be? clogged fuel filter? bad pump? bad pump relay? and advice is much appreciated!

So you
do have spark then?
click the key into the second position and listen for the fuel pump prime. Let us know if you hear it and we'll go from there

so i finally got a round to looking at the car more (been busy) and one of the spark plus wires so hella corrodded and wasnt connected, so i got new wires and cleaned out the corrodded plug in the distributor, but still no go. all the other wires are fine. Can civics not run on 3 cyls? would the remaining corrosion in the distributor be enough to stop a current? there isnt too much left behind but its a thought.

do you have spark at all 4 plugs?
pull the plug wires out and set them on the valve cover. look for a spark when someone tries to start the car.
The other thing to check is the firing order, see if your wires are right on the dizzy.

x2 . It is pretty easy to get them mixed up and that definitely will be a problem.
