Try the to narrow it down-no spark in dizzy check the cap and rotor main relay like ZzZ said but there are a couple other things in the dizzy u also need to check and thats the Coil and I.C.M.... Hopefully that helps..

Also check your Battery Wires. I had the postive come loose on me and did simialar things. I touched the wire I heard fans turn back on, Tightened up the wire and all was good.
If it's your main relay going out it will start after cooling down. Mine always did until it went out for good. You can buy a new one from honda for 75bucks or so which is the new design and doesn't have the same problem as the old one, or pick up some at a junkyard and when one gets hot and stops working swap for another one. I did this for a while until I bought a new relay from Honda. Never had a problem with that since.

He said the fuel pump comes on so it's not the main relay.
Never pay $70 for a main relay when you can just get one from an Integra or at least a 94, 95 Civic!
To the OP, you need to test your ICM and coil. Both are inside the distributer. Both commonly go bad. All you need is a digital voltmeter and a repair manual.
Most every coil and ignitor are interchangeable between different models of hondas as long as they are internal to the distributer.

If u can't test it yourself u can take out the coil and icm and get them tested at a autoparts store if they can. They do it here for you if u bring it in.
