Valve cover shave...

On the H22 above the spark plugs there are 2 indentions with 2 screw holes in th valve cover.I stripped mine of paint yesterday, and was going to paint it before I decided I want to clean tose 2 holes up.

My idea was to take a grinder, grind down the protruding metal. fill in the holes with jb weld, and once dried; sand down evenly. And paint.

Also I bought 1200 dgree VHT ceramic red paint from autozone. Im not sure if I should primer the vave cover before paint or not...

Yes, you should prime it. Do a few light coats! :thumb:

Dupli-Color Self Etching primer would be a good choice for bare metal (the one with the olive green cap) :thumb:
