Drain plug

I went to change my oil drain plug is spinning freely and wont come out. I thought about an extractor bit but idk if that would work since it would just spin.

sounds like its really stripped out.. i would put wise grips on it and drill it out. then i would use a self tapper drain plug

id just get a new oil pan from the yard and call it a day but yea really i think those are the only two options have you tried pulling while twisting maybe it might catch and get itself out there

Yea i tried it but no luck. I guess ill just take the pan off and see if i cant get it out. Thanks alot guys.

When I drained the oil for the first time on this car I discovered the threads had been repaired with a helicoil. Some quicklube shithead must've zapped the plug in with an impact or somehing. :roll:

Damn that sucks man. Are there any outher seals i can replace when i have the pan off.

nope, just the oil pan gasket and pick up a tube of hondabond for a sure seal in the corners :thumb:

What kind of pan do you need? I got a d pan sitting here in the garage I dont need

I got the bolt out and retapped it if it doesnt hold up ill hit you up on that oil pan.
