When I rebuilt my z6.... I replaced my rod bearings with Acl rod bearings... I want to say they were the performance ones... All I remember is that they were all black and did not have the shiny coating like the oem rod bearings have. A lot of people I talk to keep sayin ACL bearings are crap.... why? Do I have to worry about the bearings or no? nothing is hapening now to my motor...

if you put checked your tolerences and torqued your main girdle and rods properly, ACL bearings will be fine.
ignorant people LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to talk shit.

as long as tolerance was with in specs standard acl would be fine,.
but if your off the standard tolerance i'd get oem since you have to combine them.
