so im lookin to upgrade the throttle body and the intake manifold after getting a cold air and throwing the short ram into the garage to disapear for 3 years. OBX is pretty much what i have decided on, unless someone here tells me otherwise. but they do something that throws me for a loop. u pay the same price for a 65mm bore as a 68mm, 68 providing less restriction(i assume) however i havent found a single intake manifold compatible with n e thing over 66mm. further more, i was gunna go with an OBX manifold, y wouldnt they make one that works for their own product!? i tell ya. one last thing. is a throttle body spacer going to do n e thing but take up space???

Because I think they also make their stuff according to what the consumers want, so maybe there's not a lot of people who buys anything over 66mm. I'm pretty sure an aftermarket Tb would work for you. OBX isn't a bad brand either.

just a heads up, when you install a aftermarket tb, it will throw your fuel curves off a lot. I had to get my engine tuned right after.

I've heard that the OBX manifolds are crap. I know there's a few people on this forum who think so. I would go with the Skunk2.

OBX manifolds are crap. Dont get one. If you must get a different manifold get the Skunk2 manifold. Once you have that, I would say get a Skunk2 Throttle body too. Then get a retune.

I bought a used one for $20 6 years ago. a pinhole rusted through but I welded it up. I can't see it lasting for much longer though.
I feel I got my money's worth
