my baby came with an aem short ram intake system, i was wondering if there is anyone who makes a short ram to cold air intake conversion. the only thing i have been able to find is at checker auto, they have DIY intake tubing, but it is plastic, ugly, and plastic. in addistion its $10 per peice, and would take atleast three peices to convert. for $30, i figure i might aswell buy an ebay cold air intake, atleast it would be metal. H&R or HKR, i cant remember which makes a kit with a coupler that can be removed for either a short ram or full intake system. im looking for the full intake peice obviusly, but havent been able to find one. i think my tubing is 2.5'' thanks everyone for their help

metal tubing is metal tubing, just get the same diameter CAI off ebay and use your current Good filter and not the throw away crappy ebay filter. :thumb:

i didnt say i was only willing to spend 30, i meant it would be atleasy 30 probly $40 for a crappy plastic conversion, meaning at that price, i would rather just buy a new intake, and of course... keep the aem filter. but thanks for the insight, still havent found a piece that can be put in with a coupler. btw, does n e one kno whats so special about the aem V2 intake??? peace

you can acutally watch a video made my Aem that explains the V2

Its interesting.... I guess the v2 can just "flow" air into your motor.. " better " ... iono... Its expensive.. I settled with Aem Cold air intake

hmmm nice, however, i'd put my $300 elsewhere in my engine.
