HI,
my question here is for a ram air intake, does it matter what kind of filter u have ? K&N or ebay ? if there a difference in them ? or even the TINY mushroom ones ?
if u can explain this and even Post a picture of the filter u have and how u like it, thanks

the generic ebay ones are garbage. If you want to buy a cold air intake off ebay, it is ok to use the piping setup but please get a better filter than what comes with an ebay kit.

Absolutely correct. I've used the piping, but found a Pipercross dry foam filter produced the best results regarding, throttle response, FOT vacuum, operating temperature and other factors in comparison to filters such as K&N.

also just to let you know, not all Carbon Cold Air Intakes are better than the panel or cone filters. This was proven in a test with the Pipercross range, and the cone filter produced the best results for cold air intake and operating temperatures as the density of the air will result in better performance or not.

K & N products are shit. AEM FTW. PiperX filters are pretty damn good too. I've also heard good things about the HKS mushroom looking green filters too.

Anyone that is tired of cleaning the gunk out of their throttle body and intake manifold will tell you that K&N or any other oiled style filter is crap.
AEM Dry Flow is the best flowing and filters the finest sized particles.
However if you have a ram air intake you don't have a filter at all.
